Yosemite Animals

No bears this time, but June bugs (not pictured), the unidentified shiny bug below, a really gorgeous and healthy-looking coyote (not pictured), water snakes (wow!), and the first bobcat I've seen in the valley (pictured below). We were headed to the car and G said, "that was a mountain lion!"  I ran toward where it had disappeared (prompting my sister to say that I'm the only person she knows who will run TOWARD an alleged mountain lion) and we promptly identified it as a large bobcat.  Not perfect, but pretty good photos follow and it was really awesome to see.  An employee told someone later that it is really cool when they catch a squirrel and do a happy victory dance; too bad we missed that!
