Basketball

Love these photos, all courtesy of G, who does an excellent job with action shots.  Thanks, Grandpa, for coming to the game!  It was another nail biter, with all the girls playing really well.  K was beat up afterward - scratches and bruises!

Civil War Reenactment at Ft. Point

A really interesting, fun day with friends.  There were three times as many re-enactors as there were witnesses and talking to them was the best part of the day as each was a walking docent, full of historical details about their weapons, the lives of soldiers, the composition of their uniforms, even the medicine used during the Civil War.  We also got to see friends there, which was wonderful too.

SF Shakespeare's Hamlet

An evening at the library with a crowd of middle school kids who got extra credit for being there.  We even got to see our friends Theresa and Erin, which was a great surprise.  Great acting, fun production.  Thanks, SF Shakes!

Philosophy and Book Club Play Date

We're re-read Frances Hodgson Burnett's "A Secret Garden," a super favorite book and fun to share with friends.  We also had a lovely lunch and a bit of a philosophy discussion, even learning some fun new philosophy jokes.  Interest sparked; more to come!  Lovely day. (Thanks Min for the photos!)

First Newt of the Year

First newt of 2016 must mean that we've been out walking in the rain.  Love it!  Thanks, Mom!

Returning Home

Proving we are the coolest ever, we brought snow back to cousins for a quick snowball fight in their cul-de-sac on the way home.  Then, below, Ike is happy to have his girls back.
