I'd never done this before, so I got some expert help. It wasn't hard to do - only required a screwdriver - but I'd never done it before. It was challenging to get the bulb out of the electrical connector - it took some prying, maybe 'cause the car is old. G gets excited every time she sees the inside of an engine and wants to know how everything works, so getting her to help me with this was a great opportunity to feed her curiosity in a practical way (she's also known for taking things apart in order to learn how they work, which doesn't always go so well and isn't something I want tried on the car. :-)
