Some of the concepts were interesting. And some things made just no sense at all, like starting it in 1850 and immediately referencing cell phones and television. But it was about immigration and classism and addressed philosophical issues about what matters in life and while it mixed up its historic context, the topics are ones always worth ongoing conversation.
