Fun tradition. Don't know if I will ever perfect making the necessary straight lines, but G has gotten much better at it and I'm trying...
The red, the purple... just thought this tiny groundcover was gorgeous.

It grows, but, surprisingly, not as I'd expected: the peas and the beans were all nibbled on by some creature and even bringing them up on the porch didn't seem to save them. Two crops we have not tried before: brussels sprouts and purple cabbage, are growing like crazy. And the strawberries are back! Radishes, celery, and tomatoes are doing well, as are budding flowers. The carrots seem oddly fragile, though.... we shall see.

At the head of the drive-through Stations of the Cross. The experience of reflecting on this journey is so beautiful and moving that it always makes me cry, even in this format....
Love the lines in this, though in person the hummingbird had a bright red throat that I couldn't capture in the photo...
