G applied, interviewed for, and was accepted to a local service organization... and their first task was a park cleanup. (Better perhaps than the second task, for which I have no photos, for that one required a 6AM arrival to support a local 5/10K!) Glad that she is doing this...
Out jogging, I stopped to look down when going over a bridge that spans a small marine preserve. Wow!
Very awesome experience; would love to explore more via the water.... It was a beautiful day and we accessed the area adjacent to Bair Island, the largest island in the south bay... and also one that is a marine preserve and inaccessible on foot. I was intrigued, though a little disappointed in the quality of the tour, which did not go into much depth. But hopefully we will find a way to explore more on our own.

With Mom and Dad, who were good sports even when it went into the 11th inning. The Giants won!
They seemed to be everywhere this morning! I never noticed this before; maybe it happens at a certain time of the year?
On the way home, the girls couldn't resist this beautiful sunset. The results remind me of a poster my Mom had up in the house, a photo like this with the caption, "With a joyful cry, I am!"
Totally surprised to see this tiny circus in town. Then super amazed to see such incredible performers!
A super congregation of them, really spectacular! Just a few pictured here, but there were hundreds, all feeding at the mouth of the river.
