The second day we took a canoe downriver to see a parrot "clay," where parrots and parakeets come to get minerals. At first there were none, then they kept coming! From there, we moved from the "white water" (main Napo river, with water from the Andes) to a "black water creek," where we saw caiman, more monkeys, more birds, and *maybe* an anaconda. Our guide paddled our boat through the narrow creek and it was windless and steaming hot.
